Our Little Soccer Player

Chase has started his very sport. We are so excited! It is a neighborhood league and his division is called Mini- Wee. It is really cute, they are just learning skills at this age (the very last practice will include a scrimmage among his teammates.) So for now every kid has their own ball and they are working on just learning the basics of the game and how to control the ball. He really likes it. He came back so thirst, tired and sweaty the last practice, like such a big boy:)

Chase's 4th Birthday

We celebrated Chase's 4th birthday yesterday. We had a small party at a local farm where they have a petting zoo with all sorts of animals (goats, sheep, chickens, chicks, pig, turtle, turkey, bunnies, duck, etc.). The kids all got to take a pony ride and we finished the party with a hay ride. It was so fun. Chase loved all the animals! And the farm did a great job of making it extra special for him. His favorite part was riding on the back of a tortoise and he loved the hay ride. The girls seemed a bit timid with the animals compared to the boys who showed no fear. One of Chase's friends even grabbed a big old chicken right up. Pretty adorable to watch.

Easter Bunny Fun

We have been busy as usual. We had a lovely Easter full of bunny activities. Although I am not a huge fan of the candy and egg decorating (Chase decided to paint his hands with the green dye, fun!). I am going to have to come up with some new Easter traditions.
Chase has been on spring break this week so we have been extra busy with little down time. We visited Great Explorations, the splash park, went to the beach, visited Lynee and the kids, had a big park picnic with lots of friends, just lots of fun stuff.
We have also entered birthday party season. It seems most of our friends have birthdays in April and May so we have been to 2 parties and have 3 more slated in the next 2 weeks, to top it off we also have Chase's birthday! I can't believe he will be 4 in just a couple of days.
Olivia is finally totally potty trained! She has been using the potty for what seems like forever now but has lacked a total commitment until about 3 weeks ago. Finally it all clicked and she has done awesome in her panties! We are so proud of her and excited to be diaper free for at least a few weeks :)
We are 30 weeks now. So I have started a count down. Baby boy is doing great and is very busy. We have one last ultrasound in 2 weeks and can't wait to see him and how big he is now. We are all very anxious to meet him! His nursery is mostly set up and we have begun putting some extra baby gear together, we even have diapers in the closet for him :)
