Big Boys Love Big Toys

My parents have been back in Florida for the month. And my Dad has been working on a construction project not far from the house. We have been making weekly field trips over to his job site to check out the progress and see the big equipment that has been used. Chase LOVES the heavy equipment. He could watch the men working for hours. We went over this week to see the cement truck pour a driveway. Chase just stared, totally enthralled with the process. Olivia however could care less. She wants to be included when there is an opportunity to climb in or on some equipment but she doesn't really care what is going on or what it is used for. We also got to go over and play on a digger. Chase used the levers and scooped some dirt up. He really enjoyed that experience.
In everyday news, we are just getting back to normal after an extended sickness. We caught a cold in January which lead to sinus infections and had us under the weather for a couple of weeks but we are now all healthy. Although they are older having sick children doesn't seem to get easier. They both can be up all night coughing away, which is so hard for them and us. Everyone gets grumpy! Thankfully, we are all sleeping well and in good moods now!
Chase had a big injury this week :( He dropped a can of spray starch on his big toe and it immediately swelled up and the nail turned dark blue. After 2 days it started looking more swollen and the nail started rippling and so I took him in to the doctor. They punctured it to relieve the pressure, poor little guy. He did really well. But it is very sore and he has been limping around.
I am feeling great! We are almost 22 weeks now and I can feel baby boy moving around a lot now.
